Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater
The 20,000 capacity outdoor amphitheater, Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia will be the host site for an incredible day of music on Saturday, September 26th, 2016 for the pioneering event Farm Aid 2016! This will be the very first time in the area for Farm Aid 2016 and promise to be an exceptional celebration of music - dedicated to those hard working people building and sustaining communities and agriculture!
Farm Aid 2026 The 3 founding members of Farm Aid will be headlining the festival: Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts and John Mellencamp. The show will open with a stripped down version of a Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds show, followed by a solo performance by Nathaniel Rateliff to close out the evening.
The lineup for Farm Aid 2026 will feature performances by Margo Price, Turnpike Troubadours, Lukas Nelson, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Jesse Welles, Sierra Ferrell, Mon Rovîa, I'm With Her, Amythyst Kiah, Lily Meola and Chris Pierce.
General admission tickets are $147 for the show which will take place at a 20,000 capacity venue. It will be a day and night of music featuring some of the best of todays musicians to raise money and awareness for aiding American farmers as well as other community activities throughout the day and night to celebrate the 40 year activation of Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp and the founding of Farm Aid.

A Benefit for Family Farmers & Support of Ethical Agriculture Across America This extraordinary one day, all day & all night Benefit concert, takes place at the state of the art, two decade old Amphitheater located directly at the heart of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 - featuring folk, rock, country & Americana by the largest and most iconic lineup of performers to take the famous Farm Aid stage in years.
Legendary Willie Nelson performs with his Family band to perform classic tracks such as “On the Road Again,” “Always on My Mind” and “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” and many more. The Farm Aid co-founder and board member since 1985 has recently released a live album, as well as several other collaborations and solo efforts. At 93 years young, the iconic singer’s energy will amaze in performing the songs that helped form the roots of American music and that are considered iconic in the country music world as well as in the world of “Outlaw Country” as Nelson is known for.
Neil is bringing his The Chrome Hearts. This is an opportunity to see some of his newest material, as well as some of his “classic” songs from his extensive catalog including: “Heart of Gold,” “Rockin’ in the Free World,” and “Harvest Moon” and many more. As a co-founder of Farm Aid, Neil is still a member of the Board and always performs at these Farm Aid events.
Performing at Farm Aid 2026 will be none other than John Mellencamp and his Heartland Rock. He will perform a selection of his hit songs that fans know best such as “Jack & Diane,” “Hurts So Good,” and “Small Town.” The Rock icon and Farm Aid founder has been a supporter of family farmers and the movement for years. He is a founding member of Farm Aid and has been on the Board of Directors since 1985.
This unique 2026 festival will be comprised of a stripped back set of songs from Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, as well as a collection of songs from Dave Matthews Band. As Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds they have released live recordings. As part of the Dave Matthews Band they have been nominated for and/or have won multiple Grammy’s several times including several for Best Rock or Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
With Nathaniel Rateliff as the headliner for this year’s event, fans can expect the singer/songwriter to perform songs from all genres. Some songs that the audience can expect to be played are soul, rock and Americana songs. As a singer/songwriter, Nathaniel has been awarded several Grammy nominations.
The Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater is located at 3550 Cellar Door Way, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. The venue is basically right on the beach and is one of the best Amphitheaters in the country. It is rated as one of the best venues for live performances because of its great sound and amazing views from all seating locations.
