This summer, Rebelution is bringing special guests, The Expendables, Passafire, and DJ Mackle. The tour is set to feature the band’s biggest hits and fan favorites, such as “Lazy Afternoon,” “Count Me In,” “It’s Alright,” and many more. The band, which emerged in 2004, has released seven studio albums. The debut album, Courage to Grow, performed impressively on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums chart. The album, which peaked at number 4, demonstrates the band’s signature reggae rock and ska-punk sound. This unique fusion of genres is further demonstrated in the second studio effort, Bright. The sophomore album topped Billboard’s Reggae chart and debuted at number 54 on the Billboard 200. Bright serves as the band’s first time to enter the mainstream chart.
After the band topped the reggae chart in 2009, they consecutively peaked at number 1 for their subsequent releases. In 2012, Peace of Mind topped both the Reggae and Independent Albums chart, selling 16,000 copies in their first week. The album also became Rebelution’s highest-charting release on the Billboard 200, debuting at number 13, despite giving away free copies of the album six weeks before its official release.
In 2021, the band dropped their latest album, In The Moment, which peaked at number 2 on the Reggae chart. The album, which is the band’s seventh effort, features seven singles, including “Satisfied,” “Old School Feeling,” and “Heavy As Lead.”
